Through our specific product knowledge, collaboration with specialized companies, flexible services and a continuous drive to develop improved preparation methods, we are able to offer preparation services for Hyacinth bulbs and Calla –tubers.

Preparation of Calla –tubers

For several years flower bulb nursery W.W. van Haaster & Zn. can offer their customers the preparation service for calla –tubers. To achieve the best preparation results, we work together with specialized growers, quality breeders and exporters and Calla –expert Peter Kok. Calla –tubers prepared by flower bulb nursery W.W. van Haaster & Zn. will be quality controlled first by entry. Our customers requires that we inform them about the quality of the purchased Calla –tubers. We provide them a customized inspection report, where detailed findings are shown. Ultimately, our customer decides if the purchased Calla –tubers contain the right quality. After the quality control the tubers will be placed into our climate controlled storage rooms. Together with our customers we make a delivery schedule. Based on this schedule we can make our own schedule for preparation. The wide  differences in Calla –tubers provides that tubers  need a different approach of preparation. Our schedule will ensure that our customer get their prepared Calla –tubers with the right quality just in time. The basic principal of our preparation services are to achieve an improved flower production, reducing waste and an improved crop uniformity.

Preparation of Hyacinth bulbs

Flower bulb nursery W.W. van Haaster & Zn. has years of experience in the cultivation and preparation methods of Hyacinth bulbs. Hyacinth bulbs prepared by W.W. van Haaster & Zn. are also cultivated by their own. On demand of the customer we take care about the quality, the preparation process and the extradition of the prepared hyacinth bulbs. The preparation process can be carried out up to stage G. The availability of prepared hyacinth bulbs varies each year.
